Description

The Sequalitchew Creek trails traverse a variety of terrain and ecosystems including running into Sequalitchew Creek Canyon leading down to Puget Sound, running along the beachfront with amazing views of the Olympic Mountains, running on bluffs high above the Sound, and through a variety of soft and mossy forested sections! The course is mostly gently rolling, with the exception of one short/steep climb and descent just as you come out of and then go back into Sequalitchew Creek Canyon. This course is very beginner friendly, as the half marathon features about 1,000’ of vertical up and down, and the marathon 2,000’. The trails are well groomed and mostly non-technical!
